About Me

Here's more than you probably want to know about me...

Hey! I’m Kristen, but you probably have already noticed that. I guess I’m a pretty normal 16 year old, Level 1 Driver’s License…Sophomore at Alpena High, GO Wildcats!…

I have brown hair, brown eyes, but you can tell from the picture, I’m pretty tall, 5’10”, and pretty skinny...

I’m really into crafty stuff, like, knitting, sewing, quilting…etc…but, I also am into a lot of other things…

I love to go downhill and cross-country skiing in the winter, Wildcat football games in the fall (GO Varsity Football...Playoffs!!!) Band (don’t say I’m crazy!, I have three bands this year, marching band, SWE and jazz band), swimming up at my cottage, hang out with my friends (but its hard seeing as I don’t live by many of them and I can’t drive alone yet…), shopping (just like any other normal teenage girl!), listening to music (NFG, Reel Big Fish, Less Than Jake, Dashboard Confessional, Yellowcard, Sugarcult…and others), and many others.

The Early Years:

I was born on November 6, 1988 at 2:39 A.M. (oh the details…) at Alpena General Hospital. Ever since I went home from the hospital I’ve lived in the same house, pretty boring huh? You’re telling’ me! When I was 3 I met my now very good friend Krystal, “want some ise cweem?” We’ve been really close since that day. Finally I started school, I attended Long Rapids Elementary School. So much happened there, to many things to list. There I met my friends Angela, Lauren, and Kris. Krystal, Angela, Lauren, Kris and myself made quite the group, practically inseparable, until Junior High, but that comes later. Also, my first boyfriend, Evan. It was crazy, and all ended because of a stupid joke that got taken wrong, who knows where we’d be if that joke wouldn’t have happened. Sixth grade, Band, the one choice that I actually made the right decision for, band has made my life just incredible. Then came junior high, which split us up a lot. I lost touch with most of my elementary friends, except of course my neighbor and best friend Krystal. At Thunder Bay Junior High of course I stuck with band, I thought the Mr. Reynolds was the best teacher, come to find out I’d have an even better one when I got to high school, we went to District and State Festival both years, I thought it was great. My other really good friend came in the middle of 7th grade, Sydny, “that girl at the end of the trumpets”, I’m glad I got to know Sydny, she has helped me so much in the past year. Then Chicago Trip, where I found out who I could really trust, I lost so many friends that trip. Alpena High School, my best school experience so far, but hey I’m only a sophomore, so there’s many more to come. I found out that Ms. Moore is the BEST Band Teacher ever, I’m glad I listened to my mom and stayed in band with an open mind. My first real boyfriend, what a mistake that turned out to be, I thought I loved him, it turns out after about a month he just lied about liking me, and then broke my heart. The best 3 months of my life…that just lead to the worst 6 months of my life, but in those 6 months I met one of my best friends, Alex. He helped me so much after the break up, I don’t know what I would have done without him, and of course Steve. The past month, everything thing has changed. I found out a lot of things, and rekindled friendships. It was the best feeling ever. That brings me to…now…my 16 year old,  sophomore self.

thanks for comin!
